All of our Total Immersion Board and Train programs are customized to both our canine and human students.
Most people only think about the dog’s behavior when thinking about how much training they need, but your lifestyle and family dynamics are also important. Large families, especially those with young kids, tend to need a little extra support. So do people who travel frequently.

2-Week Jump Start Program
In this program, we teach your dog all the basic manners and obedience commands that you need to have a well-behaved dog. You’ll have a little more work to do when the dog comes home than clients in most of our programs because 2 weeks doesn’t give us a lot of time to practice the behaviors around a variety of distractions or to make sure that the dog will listen to people whose implementation may be less precise than our trainers. This program is best for people who have trained a dog before or who plan to engage in activities that utilize the training like therapy dog work, taking your dog to work with you, or doing a lot of public outings.
We Teach Your Dog
- Polite Greetings without play biting and jumping on people
- To chew only his own toys; not your shoes, remote controls, kids’ toys, etc.
- Basic Commands like sit, down, come, and drop it
- Either polite leash walking or the stay and place commands
Program Includes:
- 2-weeks of board and train in our home
- 2 private in-home lessons to teach you to maintain the training
Best Suited For:
- People who have trained a dog before, but don’t have time to do the early foundation training themselves
- People who will be actively using their training on a regular basis after board and train (e.g. therapy dogs, taking your dog to work, taking your dog to stores, restaurants, etc.)
- People who want to do some of the training themselves, but have an out of control dog and need help getting started
Fee: $2125

4-Week Learn and Return Program
Training people is as important to the results of your your training program as training the dog. We can teach your dog wonderful behaviors, but you have to consistently enforce the rules when he comes home. Large families, families with very young children, families with very busy schedules, and people who frequently travel sometimes struggle to keep everyone on the same page.
Our Learn and Return program allows us to figure out exactly which rules and behaviors are tricky for your family to enforce so that we can do extra training on those for you to make sure that the training sticks.
We start off by taking your dog for 2 weeks of of training in the basics, much like our Jump Start program. Your dog then comes home for 2-3 weeks. We’ll do 2 private in-home lessons with your family while he’s home. The 2 weeks at home allow us to see which behaviors your family enforces well and where you need a little extra help. Your dog then comes back to us for another 2 weeks so that we can train the behaviors that your family struggles with to a very high level to make your job enforcing it much easier.
We Teach Your Dog
- Everything covered in the Jump Start program including polite greetings, basic commands, and stopping problems like jumping, play biting, and destructive chewing
- All the advanced obedience training covered in the Wonder Dog Camp including stay, place, leash training, counter surfing prevention, and public access training
Program Includes:
- 4-weeks of board and train in our home

6-week Home-Away-From-Home Concierge Service
This premium service covers all the bases for busy families who want advanced obedience training and extra support for their dog. It’s particularly well suited for owners who travel frequently and require a stable loving familiar environment to maintain their dog’s behavior when they are away. The program breaks up the training to ensure that it sticks even for the busiest households, but also includes free refresher training (normally $400/week) any time that your dog boards with us.
This program starts much like the Learn and Return program. We start with 2 weeks of training on the basics in our home. Your dog then comes home for 2-3 weeks. We’ll do 2 private in-home lessons with your family while he’s home. The 2 weeks at home allow us to see which behaviors your family enforces well and where you struggle to reinforce the training. Your dog then comes back to us for another 2 weeks so that we can train the behaviors that your family struggles with to a very high level to make your job enforcing it much easier.
Your dog will come home from her second stay with brilliant behaviors, but large or busy families sometimes forget to enforce some rules and dogs start pushing boundaries a few months after training. In our Home-Away-From-Home program, you send your dog back to us after 4-6 months for a refresher course to tighten any behaviors that have slipped after training or to teach advanced obedience like off leash control. We also include free refresher training any time that you board your dog with us for life.
We Teach Your Puppy

- How to listen to a variety of people so that they don’t get confused by having too many handlers
- Advanced obedience skills like off-leash hiking
Program Includes:

- People who take a long trip overseas every year (or more often)
- Large families who may struggle to keep all family members consistently enforcing rules. This program is especially popular with families that have more then 2 children under the age of 7
- Homes with multiple non-family members involved in caring for the dog (e.g. nannies, home health workers, personal assistants, or employees of a home-based business)
